Awesome atmosphere, food service was super fast. The only negative was mains came out 5min after the entree, suggest order it separately then you can control how quick you get your meals.
All that aside the food was fresh and hot, really enjoyed the entire meal đź‘Ś and had nothing to fault otherwise.
I wish I was staying the 🌙.
The kids also fully enjoyed the pool.

Love coming here for lunch when we are visiting the Whitsunday area. The view is spectacular! The food is also amazing, the calamari is to die for!
The staff was very friendly helpful and attentive. I asked to borrow a ball pen from the bar to do some work. I got it, no problem. The place is beautiful with lot of shade.

Food was delicious. It was really busy that day and they were short staffed, but credit to the staff for pushing through. The view is beautiful, a relaxed atmosphere. I had calamari which was yum! And a passionfruit cocktail ❤️🍸
This review is for the restaurant. You must try the grilled local coral trout and bucket of prawns. We learned that the owner works with a local fisherman and buys them daily and you can definitely taste the quality. They are served fresh the same day, so you’ll never be eating yesterday’s catch. Both were excellent.
Perfect day trip under 1 hours drive north of Airlie Beach. The Cape Gloucester Resort is a hidden gem. Secluded and surrounded by beautiful beaches. We stayed the afternoon and enjoyed an extensive drinks menu, music and generous serving of Pork belly and Calamari as a snack.
There's a swimming pool, direct access to the beach and freshly laid lawns. The atmosphere is laid back and peaceful without the hustle and bustle of city areas.
Service was excellent - staff were friendly and helpful. There's accommodation on site, something we will definitely explore next time.

So much potential but left disappointed. Food is overpriced and average at best. Take the burger as an example. I’d hang my head in shame to offer that. The kids pasta my daughter ordered simply tasted awful. She refused to eat it and usually she eats everything. Drinks aren’t great value either. Public toilets and guest laundry putrid. Pool water hot and cloudy. One gets the feeling that the place is tired from head to toe.
Had lunch here and it is a top location right on the beach. It has a pool for patrons and live music on weekends. Food was good quality and portion size was adequate with great service. Definitely the place for a relaxing Sunday lunch.
